LYNDEN, Wash. — A shooting in Lynden Wednesday night sent a man to Harborview Medical Center.
Lynden’s Police Chief says three people went to the Lynden City Park at about 10:40 PM to meet a friend of theirs and were approached by two masked men, one of whom was armed with a gun.
The three people said they ran when the men began stealing from their vehicle but went back when the men shot one of them in the bicep.
The victims got back in their car and drove their friend to the Lynden Fire Station where other law enforcement agencies were called in and the gunshot victim was taken to the hospital.
It’s not clear what happened to the two masked men.
