BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Home sale prices are up across Whatcom County, and home sales have skyrocketed in Lynden.
Troy Muljat of Muljat Commercial Group says Lynden saw first quarter home sales jump 67.4 percent compared to a year ago.
As home sales go up, so do prices, and Bellingham is the most expensive, as its home sale prices near a median price of $400,000.
Muljat notes people are also snatching homes off the market around the county faster than a year ago.
Overall, Whatcom County saw a slight increase in home sales.
