BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Western Washington University Police arrested a man who a witness said was taking inappropriate pictures or video of women from under desks at Wilson Library.

A male student told WWU officers that he saw the man taking pictures on Tuesday.

Police identified him and found him in the library again on Thursday.

He tried to throw away a small camera while officers questioned him.

Police also got a warrant to search the 57-year-old man’s camera and house.

Gregory Vergin was booked into jail on voyeurism and stalking charges.
