BALLINGHAM, Wash. – A man is being held on an assault charge for brutally beating another man for recording a fight outside a Bellingham nightclub.
Police say Joseph A. Galarza was arguing with a man outside Rumors Cabaret at about 2 a.m. Sunday, October 23rd.
Another man began recording the altercation and Galarza asked him to stop.
Galarza got into a car to leave but got out and attacked the man when he continued to record.
He punched the victim unconscious and then continued to hit and kick him before fleeing.
The victim was taken to the hospital.
