BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man faces charges for assaulting several women at a downtown bar after the bartender cut him off for being too drunk.

An arrest report says Trevor J. Herring was drinking at the State Street Bar on Monday and became belligerent when he was refused service.

He grabbed one woman’s buttock and tried to kiss another.

They left with another woman and Herring followed and confronted them outside.

He charged at the third woman and hit her with a closed fist, breaking a tooth and knocking her to the ground.

Bystanders pulled him off of her and he fled.

Officers located and arrested Herring several blocks away.
