BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A man Bellingham Police arrested for indecent exposure may be linked to a series of lewd acts near Western Washington University’s campus.
Officers responded to reports of a man without pants on in a parking garage in the 900 block of North Forest Street a little after 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Lieutenant Don Almer says the man was wearing pants when officers arrived but they arrested him after talking to witnesses.
He says there are similarities between Daryl James Coates and descriptions from other incidents.
Coates has also had prior arrests for indecent exposure.
Coates also faces a drug charge after officers say they found him in possession of methamphetamine.
