BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Police arrested a man for reckless driving after witnesses said he sped and fish-tailed a car through Fairhaven Tuesday.
Witnesses reported the man was in the street trying to punch passing vehicles, hitting one with a baseball bat-sized object and kicking his own car near the Fairhaven Haggen store just after noon.
He sped away before officers arrived, and witnesses said he ran a stop sign and a stop light on 12th street and appeared to intentionally be trying to make his car swerve and fishtail.
Officers located Joseph B. Markoski at Boulevard Park and arrested him.
