BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A man was arrested last week following a traffic stop that yielded a large stash of illegal narcotics.
Bellingham Police said that the man was stopped back in July on Northwest Ave after the car he was driving had been reported sold without a title transfer.
A check on the man’s ID found that there was a warrant out for his arrest and he was taken into custody.
Police requested to search the vehicle based on the suspect’s history of drug arrests, but the suspect refused.
A search warrant later uncovered over 100 grams of meth, 500 fentanyl pills, and other drug paraphernalia.
The suspect, 44-year-old Joshua Byram, was booked into the Whatcom County Jail last Wednesday, October 19th.
He was bonded out as of Friday.
