FRIDAY HARBOR, Wash. – A man has been arrested in connection with a massive fire that tore through Friday Harbor on April 7th.
The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media that the suspect was taken into custody Saturday afternoon, April 16th.
Dwight Henline was found in Island County and has since been transferred to San Juan County Jail.
Henline is accused of intentionally setting the fire on a deck behind the building housing Crystal Seas Kayaking.
The fire totaled three buildings and damaged six others.
Damages are estimated at over $10 million.
