LYNDEN, Wash. — A man is in Whatcom County jail after a break-in Friday at the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds.

Police Chief Steve Taylor told the Lynden Tribune Alexander Pollock was apparently setting up camp in one of the fair buildings.

He reportedly bit, punched, and kicked officers during his arrest.

Pollack was booked on investigation of felony assault and harassment, and served with an earlier outstanding warrant from the city of Blaine for criminal trespass.
