BELLINGHAM, Wash. –A man is in jail to face charges relating to child porn after he confessed.
Bellingham Police say they acted on tips in the case that goes back to 2019.
In an interview with police following a search warrant, Clifford Eugene Allen admitted to having thousands of images and videos of child pornography, including of sexual assault.
A police detective later counted more than 265,000 images on his devices.
Allen turned himself in Thursday and was booked into Whatcom County jail on charges of viewing and possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
