BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A man and woman are in jail after a violent incident in Whatcom County on Tuesday.
The Sheriff’s office says Joe Louise Pierre Crowder III of Bellingham and April Brondum of Shoreline confronted a couple at the intersection of Kwina and Hillaire roads.
Deputies say Crowder pulled a woman from a car, pistol whipped a man and stole their car.
He came back and ordered the woman to get into the car.
Investigators says they drove around for a while, before Crowder left the woman and car near Northwest Drive and Aldrich Road.
Deputies tracked the pair down and arrested them.
It’s unclear if the two couples knew each other.
