BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A new report says Bellingham has some of the most dangerous roads in Washington for cyclists.

Colburn Law, a Seattle-based firm specializing in personal injury cases, analyzed cities in Washington and created an interactive map showing the ones most dangerous for cyclists.

Seattle, Olympia and Bellingham topped the list.

The data shows three zones in Bellingham had a total of 27 crashes, 21 minor injuries and 2 serious injuries from 2013 to 2017.

The zone with the most crashes is at East Magnolia and Cornwall (by the downtown Rite Aid), with a total of 16 during the time studied.

Other intersections which made the list were Northwest Avenue and Maplewood Avenue (6 crashes), and East Champion and North Forest (5 crashes).
