MAPLE FALLS, Wash. – A Maple Falls man has been arrested after Homeland Security investigators found child pornography on his computer.

According to court documents, federal investigators were tipped off in December 2020 after an online database identified explicit content being shared from a Maple Falls address.

A search warrant was issued for the Sprague Valley Drive residence, where investigators seized a laptop and other electronics.

The laptop contained several child pornography files.

In September 2021, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children identified at least three files featuring child victims.

As a result of the federal investigation, 46-year-old Aaron Faircloth was taken into custody on Sunday, March 13th.

Faircloth remains behind bars in the Whatcom County Jail on $10,000 bond.
