MARIETTA, Wash.-A man burned his roommate’s clothes, and Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies say he also pointed a gun at her.
The Sheriff’s Office says Timothy Newman was dealing with some sort of mental health related issue Tuesday afternoon at the Marietta-area home.
Investigators say he yelled at the woman for trying to put poison in his food as he pointed the rifle at her.
Deputies say he refused to come out at first, but they finally convinced him to surrender Tuesday night.
