The Seattle Mariners have outrighted outfielder Andrew Aplin to Triple-A Tacoma. Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced the move Monday.

Aplin cleared waivers after being designated for assignment June 2nd.

The 26-year-old was originally drafted by Houston. He hit .250 with 1 home run and 3 RBI’s in 6 games with the Rainiers after being claimed off waivers by the Mariners May 24th.  In parts of 6 minor league seasons with Houston and Seattle Aplin has hit .271 31 home runs and 298 RBI’s.
