SEATTLE, Wash. – The Seattle Mariners have outrighted catcher Tuffy Gosewisch to AAA Tacoma. General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced the move Thursday
The 33-year-old Gosewisch has spent the majority of the season with AAA, but also appeared in 11 games with Seattle this season. In 65 games with the Rainiers, he hit .219 with 4 home runs and 28 RBI’s. Gosewisch was claimed off waivers by the Mariners from the Atlanta Braves on January 26, 2017.
The Mariners Major League, 40-man roster is currently at 39 players.
