BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Another maritime business is expanding on Bellingham’s waterfront.
The Port of Bellingham posts on their Facebook page that boat builder NTG Fabrications has moved to a 31,000 square foot Port-owned building at Fairhaven Marine Industrial Park.
Port Commissioner Michael Shephard says the company has been building aluminum boats and marine-related fabrications in a smaller operation at Downtown Bellingham’s Colony Wharf for several years, and the much bigger facility will allow them to expand and hire more workers.
Shephard says the larger building was previously used mostly for storage.
