BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The man accused of killing his 13-year-old son is no longer fighting extradition from Bellingham back to Colorado.

Mark Redwine waived extradition in a Whatcom County courtroom Tuesday.

Prosecutors said Redwine murdered his son Dylan in 2012.

His other son Cory Redwine said he knows his father is guilty. “He’s just a sick person, and he’s fine with being that person” Redwine said.

Denver-7 reported Redwine will be returned to Colorado as soon as deputies make the arrangements.

He was in Bellingham for work last month when police arrested him at a Bellingham Cold Storage facility.
