BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham Mayor’s holiday cards will feature artwork from local elementary students this year.
Mayor Kelli Linville selected drawings from two Bellingham Family Partnership Program students — second grader Sarah Rosenburg and fourth grader Amelie Bass.
Each year, the mayor solicits drawings from a local elementary school to feature on the card that will be mailed out to hundreds of community volunteers, board and commission members, local, state and federal elected officials, and other community leaders.
Bellingham Public Schools selects the school or program to participate and asks students to submit drawings that illustrate wintertime celebrations.
