The Meridian High School girls softball team got knocked out of the 1A district tournament Monday losing a play-in game to Sultan 22-6.
At 3A boys golf districts in Everett Ferndale finished sixth and Squalicum took seventh. Five county golfers will compete individually Tuesday to try and advance to state. Liam Stewardson, Dane Larsen and Sequoyah Julius of Ferndale and Jason Lowry and Taylor Lenderman from Squalicum will be in action.
