SPOKANE, WASH. (AP) – Meth is still causing drug overdose deaths, it’s not just heroin.
The Spokesman-Review reports meth is rarely-discussed in conversations about overdose death rates because people use opioids in combination with meth.
Meth contributed to 155 opioid overdoses in 2015 compared to just 44 in 2010.
