MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — The body of a missing 10-year-old boy has been found in the Skagit River.
Sage Adams and his father, both of Chehalis, were kayaking on the river in July in two separate kayaks when his dad fell out and had to swim to shore.
His father last saw Sage as his kayak headed downstream.
Search and rescue teams looked for him for a week, but were unsuccessful.
A fisherman on Sunday found Sage’s body and informed the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office, according to the Skagit Valley Herald.
