LOPEZ ISLAND, Wash. — Two Oregon divers were found safe after they were reported missing in the San Juan Islands on Thursday.
The Coast Guard says the father and son diving pair got separated from their dive boat and were reported missing at about 1:30 PM when they didn’t surface at the planned spot of Colville Island.
An aircrew found the men about an hour later at Point Colville on Lopez Island and a Bellingham boat crew took them back to their boat.
