FRESNO, Calif. — A Washington man that had gone missing while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail was found alive and in good health, but tired after winter storms in the Sierra Nevada delayed his hiking route.
KFSN reports 67-year-old backpacker Stephen McGuire was last seen May 18th and listed as missing May 23rd when he never arrived at a planned supply pickup in Mammoth Lakes, California.
McGuire has been hiking the Mexico-to-Canada trail northward for two months.
