Major League Baseball Players Weekend is set for Aug. 25 to 27 and uniforms will have a unique look.  MLB has announced that players will be allowed to wear nicknames on the back of their jerseys.  They’ll also be allowed to wear cleats, sleeves and wristbands of any color or style.

The Seattle Mariners tweeted out a list of nicknames Wednesday.  Third baseman Kyle Seager’s jersey will feature the name “Corey’s Brother” in honor of Kyle’s all-star brother Corey Seager of the Los Angeles Dodgers.  M’s pitcher James Paxton will go with his familiar nickname “Big Maple.” Felix Hernandez will do the same with “King Felix.”  Catcher Mike Zunino and outfielder Ben Gamel will go with their regular last names.

New York Yankees star rookie Aaron Judge will display the nickname “All Rise.”
