BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A modular home on a property east of the Guide Meridian and north of Pole Road burned Tuesday afternoon.
North Whatcom Fire Chief Jason Vanderveen says crews found the single story home fully engulfed in flames and worked to keep the fire from spreading.
No one was injured and neighboring properties weren’t damaged.
The Guide Meridian was partially blocked for much of the afternoon and the Meridian School District rerouted some buses because of the fire.
