BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Expect icy conditions to linger in Whatcom County for the next few days.
A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until 11 AM today for Whatcom County and a Winter Storm Watch goes into effect this evening through tomorrow morning.
The National Weather Service says while overall temperatures throughout western Washington are not quite as low as forecast several days ago, temperatures will still be below freezing and wind chills of as low as 10-degrees below zero are possible.
Wet snow that has already fallen in combination with strong winds could result in tree damage and power outages.
