OLYMPIA, Wash. — Another upbeat jobs report for Washington.
The Employment Security Department reports the state’s economy added 8,500 jobs in May.
Most areas of the private sector added jobs with retail and construction leading the way.
The unemployment rate was 4.7 percent last month, down slightly from April.
