BELLINGHAM, Wash. – More people spotted the “Barkley Bear” over the weekend.
The Bellingham Herald reports several residents of the north Alabama Hill neighborhood saw the bear in their yards or ripping into their bird feeders.
The bear has been prowling northeast Bellingham neighborhoods for weeks.
Dave Jones with the state Department of Fish and Wildlife has been trying to trap the bear and he advises people to take down their bird feeders.
He calls the young bear a “bird seed menace.”
