BELLINGHAM, Wash. —Most rentals are getting a passing grade in the City of Bellingham’s rental inspection program.
City Council President Michael Lilliquist says 2700 units in the Sehome, York, and Happy Valley Neighborhoods were inspected through early July.
About 92-percent of the units passed inspection.
The South Hill, Fairhaven, Edgemoor and South Neighborhoods are being inspected right now.
Inspections for the Roosevelt Neighborhood, which has the largest number of units, are scheduled for the fall.
