TACOMA, Wash. — A mother and her teenage daughter are in jail for allegedly drugging a woman with the intent of taking her newborn.

Pierce County Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer tells Q-13 that the woman trolled for new mothers on social media.

A new mom says she met with suspect Juliette Parker of Spanaway several times to discuss baby photos and began to feel drowsy after eating a cupcake she gave her on February 5th.

Troyer says an investigation found other potential victims.

Parker, who goes by several other names, and her daughter remain in custody but haven’t been charged.

Parker, who goes by several other names, was released on bond on Sunday.

The daughter remains in custody.

Both are scheduled to appear before a judge next week.
