EVERSON, Wash. — A motorcycle rider from Everson was injured when he rear-ended a car driven by a Lynden woman on I-5 in Skagit County Thursday night.
The State Patrol reports both vehicles were traveling north near the Bow Hill Road exit when the driver of the car slowed for flashing emergency lights.
The motorcycle rider, 27-year-old Joseph D. Buck, hit her car.
He was taken to Skagit Valley Hospital.
The driver of the car wasn’t hurt.
Troopers say Buck was riding too close and without a proper license.
