GLACIER, Wash. — Crews completed tree removal work on Mount Baker Highway east of Glacier ahead of schedule, opening the road again to all traffic.
The State Department of Transportation says crews cleared out more than seventy trees that would pose a risk when it snows.
Crews have completed tree removal work on SR 542/Mount Baker Hwy ahead of schedule – removing 70+ trees that were at risk of falling. No closure is needed on Thurs., Oct. 4.
