MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – A Mount Vernon auto dealer paid the state $240,000 after its president pleaded guilty to stealing sales tax.
The State says American Auto & Body’s records vastly underreported income.
The state says the company owes about $145,000.
It tacked on an additional $95,000 for penalties and interest.
