MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — One person was injured Tuesday night in a Mount Vernon house fire.
KIRO reports firefighters found a home on fire just before 9 PM.
One person was rescued from the second floor of the North 1st Street home and was taken to a hospital to be treated for possible smoke inhalation.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
