MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – A Mount Vernon man goes to prison for possessing and distributing child pornography.
Eric Bongiorni will spend 15 years in prison under a plea agreement reached in U.S. District Court in Seattle.
A federal investigation into a peer-to-peer file sharing network led to the 32 year old, and a search warrant revealed hundreds of images and videos of child pornography on his electronic devices.
Bongiorni is a registered sex offender, having been convicted of child molestation in 2009 in Skagit County.
He’ll be supervised for the rest of his life after he serves this sentence.
