MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Most students in the Mount Vernon School District will continue to learn remotely in the fall.
The district announced Monday what it calls its “Remote Plus Model for a Safe Start” which will include remote learning and in-person learning for students with special and unique needs.
Mount Vernon School Board President Larry Otos told the Skagit Valley Herald the district is not happy with not going back to school, but it’s the right decision for now.
The district plans to use its Remote Plus model until at least until December 18.
