MOUNT VERNON, WASH. – A Mount Vernon woman with an extensive criminal history is now accused of stealing people’s identities.
Swinomish police say Ryann Garner stole the identities of more than a dozen people throughout Skagit, Swinomish and Island Counties.
KOMO reports detectives found hundreds of pieces of other people’s mail in Garner’s Mount Vernon home last week.
Police believe she’s stolen from at least 20 people.
An officer went to arrest Garner during a traffic stop on an unrelated warrant when they noticed mail in Garner’s car that didn’t belong to her.
Garner’s bail is set at $100,000.
