More roster moves for the Seattle Mariners. Right-handed pitcher Chase De Jong has been optioned to triple-A Tacoma. Lefty Zac Curtis has been recalled from double-A Arkansas. Mariners G.M. Jerry Dipoto announced the moves Friday.

The 23-year-old De Jong allowed only 1 hit, walked 2 and struck out 2 over 4. scoreless innings in relief on June 15 at Minnesota. In his 4 stints with Seattle this season he is 0-3 with a 6.35 ERA with 13 strikeouts in 7 games including 6 starts.

Curtis is in his 2nd stint with the Mariners this season, previously appearing in 2 games in relief in May. The 24-year-old has been named to the Texas League All-Star team. He has an 0-2 record with 7 saves and a 2.66 ERA in 19 relief appearances.
