SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) – The man who accused Seattle Mayor Ed Murray of sexually abusing him as a teen asked the court to dismiss the lawsuit he filed against Murray.
Delvonn Heckard’s lawyer says Heckard still wants to proceed with the legal action, but not until Murray is out of office.
Murray denies the allegations and dropped his re-election bid because of the lawsuit.
The suit claimed Murray paid Heckard for sex in the 1980s.
