Both of Washington’s Democratic senators are applauding the $3.5 trillion budget resolution passed by their party early Wednesday.

Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell both tout the measure’s investments in affordable housing, child care, education and more.

The legislation passed with no Republican support following the passage of a $1 trillion infrastructure plan.
