BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Tuesday is National Night Out, an annual community building campaign between police and neighborhoods.
According to the campaign’s website, 141 towns and areas in Washington are participating, including Bellingham, Sedro-Woolley, Marysville, Anacortes, and Port Angeles.
Neighborhoods host block parties, cookouts, parades and more for the event.
Bellingham Police say on their Facebook that more than a dozen neighborhoods let them know they were having events and many will have department personnel there.
