OLYMPIA, Wash. — National Parks in Washington are among those affected by the partial federal government shutdown.

North Cascades and Olympic National Parks are both open, according to their websites, but no visitor services are available.

Mount Rainier National Park is also open with limited access.

Visitors to the National Parks are advised to be extremely cautious as most personnel aren’t available for assistance or emergency response.
