The Navy has apologized to the Okanogan School District for the outline of a penis one of its pilots drew over Okanogan County last month.
KOMO reports the commander of U.S. Naval Forces, Vice Admiral T.M. Shoemaker, posted a letter on the school districts Facebook page apologizing for the “unacceptable and obscene contrails” that outlined the male appendage in the sky November 16th.
He says the Whidbey Island-based flight crew has been grounded over the incident.
The district superintendent says he’s satisfied with the apology.
