PORT ANGELES, Wash. – A Search and Rescue team from the Naval Air Station on Whidbey Island performed a medical evacuation for a man suffering from cardiac arrest.
Crews received a call at 3:45 am from the Olympic Medical Center staff about an elderly man whose pacemaker stopped working.
After receiving the patient the crew took off directly to University of Washington Medical Center, where the patient was turned over to a higher level of care.
