BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A woman was medically evacuated from Lopez Island Monday and brought to Bellingham.
Naval Air Station Whidbey Island says the woman was suffering from anaphylaxis, possibly due to a severe allergic reaction.
Their search and rescue team transported her to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center by helicopter,
This was the fifth medevac the unit has conducted in Washington this year.
