The NBA regular season is over after an eventful season that required more players than any previous NBA season in history.

The play-in tournament kicks off Tuesday night when the 7 seed Brooklyn Nets take on the 8 seed Cleveland Cavaliers. The other matchup in the East is the No. 10 seed Charlotte Hornets vs. the No. 9 seed Atlanta Hawks.

In the Western Conference, the 7 seed Timberwolves and 8 seed Clippers will match up and the 10 seed Spurs take on the 9 seed Pelicans.

The winner of the 7 vs. 8 matchup in each conference will claim the 7 seed. The loser of the 7 vs. 8 matchup will face the winner of the 9 vs. 10 matchup for the final seed in each conference.

The play-in tournament will take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday before the playoffs tip on Saturday.
