SEATTLE, Wash (AP) — Five members of a neo-Nazi group, including a man from Redmond and a former resident of Arlington, have been arrested and charged in a pair of federal investigations.

The charges in Seattle and Virginia against the alleged members of Atomwaffen include conspiracy to harass journalists, churches and a former Cabinet official with bomb threats and other forms of intimidation.

Prosecutors say 24-year-old Kaleb Cole of Texas and Cameron Brandon Shea of Redmond created posters stating “you have been visited by your local Nazis” and included Nazi symbols, masked figures with guns and Molotov cocktails.

The Everett Herald reports the posters were sent to addresses in Edmonds, Mercer Island and Seattle, including to a KING 5 reporter who has covered Atomwaffen’s activities.

Cole previously lived in Arlington where he was the leader of the northwest branch of the neo-Nazi group.
