BIRCH BAY, Wash. — Birch Bay community members have the opportunity to adopt portions of their watershed with the new Adopt-a-Block program.
Adopt-a-Block is a part of the Birch Bay Watershed Watchers initiative, and is a collaborative effort between local and county organizations.
Volunteers commit to keep their area free of garbage, debris, and other contaminants that would otherwise enter our waterways.
Participants receive special training and can check out Adopt-a-Block kits to assist them with cleanup.
